Anthropologist, Philosopher of Science, Essayist & Poet
Loren Eiseley (1907 - 1977) was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska.
He earned a Masters and PhD in Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania and later became a professor of the field.
Eiseley was well-known for his science essays and books.
He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1987-88.
