Businessman, Civic Leader & Philanthropist
Nathan Gold (1894 - 1970) moved to Lincoln, Nebraska in 1902 with his parents.
He attended the Lincoln Business College and later joined his family's business, the Gold and Company Department Store.
Gold also served as an Army lieutenant during World War I.
He took over the Gold and Company business in 1936 and remained in Lincoln for the rest of his life dedicating his time and services to the community.
Nathan Gold was inducted into the Nebraska Hall of Fame in 1995-96.
