The Nebraska Hall of Fame Commission is currently accepting nominations for the January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2024 Nebraska Hall of Fame cycle. Use the form linked below to nominate an individual to the Nebraska Hall of Fame.
Applications will be accepted beginning January 1, 2020. The deadline for applications is 5:00 pm CST on December 31, 2021.
To be elected to the Nebraska Hall of Fame, a person must meet the definition of a Nebraskan below and must have been deceased for a minimum of thirty-five (35) years. An inductee’s contributions shall normally have been made in public affairs, or the arts, the sciences, the professions; secondary consideration is given to entertainment, athletics or fields of endeavor where interest, publicity, and general recognition may for a time be intense, but where a contribution to society is secondary. Activities that have added to the welfare of society and to the reputation of Nebraska shall be weighted more heavily than activities primarily benefiting the individual him/herself.
For the purpose of this application, Nebraskans mean those (1) who were born in Nebraska; (2) who gained prominence while living in Nebraska, or; (3) who lived in Nebraska and whose residence in Nebraska was an important influence on their lives and which contributed to their greatness.
