Not Your Typical Valentine

Valentine’s Day cards can be sweet, sentimental, funny, and sometimes just plain bizarre. Here are a few of the strangest valentines I have found in the Nebraska History Museum’s collections.

What is this creepy little kid doing inside this hole?

Enough of the bizarre!  I’ll conclude with one of my favorites. This 1906 card features a young lady all decked out for a spin in an early auto.
