BACKGROUND NOTE

Born November 9, 1900, at Pierce, Nebraska, Frank Honisky was the son of Anton and Mary (Synovec) Honisky.  Frank worked with his father as a carpenter, and later the family moved to Wilber, Nebraska.  Frank married Matilda Hynek on March 21, 1929, at Council Bluffs, Iowa.  They made their home in Wilber where Frank continued working as a carpenter and cabinet maker.  Frank Honisky died on April 13, 1973.  He is buried in the Wilber Czech Cemetery at Wilber, Nebraska.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

The collection consists of three sheets of blueprints showing design plans created by Frank Honisky for a house and barn for Ed Neuman of Wilber.  The drawings are undated, but the house was probably built in the 1930s or 1940s.
