SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This collection consists of an envelope containing four folders of information relating to members of the Harmon, Dittmer and Welch families in Nebraska.  Included in the collection are papers relating to the service of Edward T. Welch in World War II, as well as copies of a diary and letter of James Nathan Harmon.  Additional materials include copies of documents relating mostly to the Harmon family, as well as an interview transcript of Francis Lorraine Harmon Carlisle, conducted by Bill Burris in August of 1971.
