SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This collection consists of one folder containing two handwritten papers by Inez Elizabeth Minney.  The two papers were written by Minney for class projects in 1925 and 1926.  The first paper, "The History of Palmyra, Nebraska," was written on January 7, 1925, and includes information she received from Mrs. Lem Merwin.  The second paper, "Territorial Reminiscences," was written by Minney in 1926 from information received from a Mrs. Orrison.  Both papers describe frontier and pioneer life in Otoe County, Nebraska.  Also included are typed transcriptions of the papers done in 1975.

Note:  The moving image component [RG1309.MI] contains two VHS tapes containing a "History of Palmyra" by Gera Stilwell and Bob Fey.  The first tape is from 1996 and the second tape is from 2000.  Scripts to both videos are also included.
