This collection consists of two cash books kept by Horace Phelps while working as the editor of the Orleans Chronicle.  The books date from 1910-1913 and 1931-1933.  They include information on bills/accounts paid.  The second half of volume 1 relates to Phelps' time in Ashton, Idaho.  Most of the entries appear to be more personal expenses rather than business expenses.
