On Saturday, Nov. 9, the Nebraska State Historical Society and the Museum of Nebraska Art in Kearney will host an adult neurographic art class and a kids’ acrylic painting class at the Chimney Rock Ethel and Christopher J. Abbott Visitor Center classroom.
The kids’ acrylic landscape painting class, designed for ages 8 to 12, starts at 9 a.m. MST. The workshop will teach children to paint acrylic landscapes of Chimney Rock, combining color techniques with imaginative adventure. Click here to register for the kid’s class.
The adult class, open to ages 13 and up, begins at 1 p.m. MST and is suitable for all skill levels. It will feature calming neurographic art techniques, allowing participants to create pieces combining expressive lines with the iconic Chimney Rock landscape.
