Hispanics make up 10% of Nebraska's population, but their historical presence remains largely invisible. UNL professor Isabel Velázquez and graduate student Sarita Garcia will describe the significance of a unique collection of hundreds of family documents from Western Colorado and Eastern Nebraska. They will also detail the ongoing efforts to digitize the collection.
