Join the Nebraska History Museum, the State Historic Preservation Office, the Malone Center and the Great Plains Trails Network on a bike tour with city Historic Preservation Planner Ed Zimmer. We will explore Lincoln’s African American neighborhoods and the gravesites of African American men and women who have contributed to our state and nation.
Cost is $15, $10 for NSHS members. Refreshments included. Limited to 30 people. Must be 16 or older to participate. Helmets required.
Meet at the Nebraska History Museum and take a mini tour of African American objects in the Nebraska Unwrapped exhibit, then bicycle through Malone, Hartley and Clinton neighborhoods to Wyuka Cemetery for a guided tour.
