Join us at Chimney Rock at 6 pm on September 28 for a free evening of lectures and artifact identification at the Chimney Rock Visitor Center.
Our own Nolan Johnson will be giving a talk on Historic Trail Archeology, while Augustana University’s Jason Kruse will be discussing History Nebraska and Archeological Discoveries in the Nebraska Badlands. The talks will begin at 7 pm, but the public is encouraged to bring artifacts for identification beginning at 6 pm.
This event is part of History Nebraska’s 2019 celebration of Nebraska Archeology Month, which also includes a weekend community dig at Courthouse Rock and a Free Family Fun Day at the Chimney Rock visitor center.
