Join us at the Nebraska History Museum for a free event celebrating the opening of Take Our Picture: Sod House Portraits by Solomon Butcher, our new exhibit highlighting the frontier photography of Solomon Butcher!
In addition to being the first to see the new exhibit, those who join us will be able to help us build a life-size sod house with recycled materials, win a prize through an exhibit scavenger hunt, and learn how to make a rag doll.
Musician Chris Sayre will also be performing some early folk music at 2:00 pm.
Parking at the Museum is limited, but there is parking nearby, including three parking garages within a four block radius.
