Step into the Nebraska History Museum’s Time Machine and travel back in time via fun activities to find out how Nebraska kids have been having fun for the past 100 years!
This online 30-minute workshop is designed for kids ages 7-10. There is no registration fee, but we have included the option to pay a registration fee of $5 as a donation. The workshops will take place every Tuesday from 10:30 am to 11 am in July and August. The August workshop is themed around Nebraska’s experience in World War Two.
Activities for this workshop include: a guided image search through History Nebraska’s collections, making a paper plane, and reading Major: a Soldier Dog together. Participants will also receive instructions for an at-home code breaker worksheet and a recipe for WWII-era rationed maple syrup.
