Women’s History Month Donation

In honor of Women’s History Month, the Nebraska History Museum is helping give back to organizations that help women in need.

Between March 15 – 31, bring a donation for the Malone Maternal Wellness Program and Fresh Start of any of the items listed below, and receive 15% off your purchase in the Gift Shop. 

The Malone Maternal Wellness Programs are dedicated to combating the disparities and inequities in Black maternal health while providing safe and culturally competent care. Their programs are led by BIPOC individuals and focus on education, empowerment, support, and client services during pregnancy and a year+ after childbirth. Items to donate include:

• Green cleaning supplies


• Diapers


• Wipes


• Nursing/Pumping bras


• Leak pads


• Pumps/Pumping accessories


• Baby wash/lotion


• Baby clothing


• Maternity clothes


• Baby accessories

Fresh Start is a traditional shelter that empowers homeless women to change their lives by recognizing and utilizing their strengths to overcome barriers to self-sufficiency. Items to donate include:

• General feminine hygiene products, especially tampons


• Paper products, such as toilet paper and paper towels


• Laundry supplies
