Join us in celebration of National Historic Preservation Month at one of Nebraska’s most treasured landmarks, The Senator George Norris House in McCook, on May 7th at 5:30pm.
Harold Callahan, Norris House Site Manager, and Haylee Rose, Standing Structures Coordinator from the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), will explore the history of historic preservation, including the vital programs administered by Nebraska’s SHPO, before discussing the history and ongoing preservation efforts that maintain the Norris House for generations to come.
