BACKGROUND NOTE
The 314th Motor Supply Train, 89th Division, organized at Camp Funston, Kansas in October of 1917, consisted primarily of men from Nebraska and surrounding states. Of the 551 men assigned to the 314th Motor Supply Train, 297 hailed from Nebraska. After training for eight months, the Supply Train left for Camp Mills, New York on June 4th, 1918. From New York they would travel by ship to England and finally to France where they would be instrumental in supplying American troops during World War I.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE
This collection consists of the reunion records of the veterans and family members of the 314th Motor Supply Train, Co. F. The records consist of meeting minutes, roll call registers, letters, and postcards dating from ca. 1931-1978. The first reunion was held in Fairmont, Nebraska on June 21st, 1931. Annual meetings were held at various locations throughout Nebraska. The final meeting was held at Minden, Nebraska on June 5th, 1977. Due to declining membership, it was decided in 1978 not to hold an annual meeting.
