Frederick Griggs, professor and religious educator, served in various capacities for the Seventh Day Adventist Church for 59 years, including a period as President of Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska, from 1910-1913.

These materials relate to the career of Frederick Griggs as an Elder of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, and are arranged in three series: 1) Correspondence, 1938-1952; 2) Manuscripts; and 3) Miscellaneous. Manuscripts of sermons form the bulk of the collection.
