SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE
The collection consists of two typescript reminiscences [photocopies] by Gardner Moore. “Seventy Five Years in the Food Business” [1979, 5 p.] describes the packaging, selling, and delivery of groceries in Lincoln, Nebraska, during the early part of the 20th century. “To Gardner and Ruth” [n.d., 16 p.] was compiled by family members and contains Moore’s history of the family business, the Ideal Grocery and Market, with photocopies of old Ideal Market advertisements and photographs.
