BACKGROUND NOTE
Born at Troy Grove, Illinois, on September 5, 1875, Harry H. Everett married Margaret Rudy at Woodbury, Iowa, on June 14, 1899. By 1900, the couple was living in Lincoln, Nebraska, and Harry was working as a baker. By 1907, the couple had divorced, and Harry married Blanche Hargreaves in Lincoln, Nebraska, on August 20, 1907. By 1910, Harry was practicing in Lincoln as a doctor. Everett remained a practicing surgeon in Lincoln for the rest of his life. Dr. Harry H. Everett died on March 30, 1949. He is buried in Wyuka Cemetery at Lincoln, Nebraska.

- A “safe conduct” pass/certificate for foreign travel issued by the U.S. Department of State in the name of Harry H. Everett. The certificate is dated April 3, 1913.
- A letter signed by William Jennings Bryan to Diplomatic and Consular Officers of the United States introducing Harry Everett. The letter is dated April 3, 1913.
- A letter signed by John J. Pershing to Harry H. Everett dated September 18, 1942. Pershing expresses his appreciation to Mr. and Mrs. Harry Everett for birthday greetings sent to him.
