SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE
This collection consists of six record books containing minutes and records, 1876-1944, of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Albion, Nebraska. Portions of the records are written in Norwegian. South Branch community was settled by Norwegian immigrants.
These church records were loaned for microfilming by Rev. Woodrow Wilson in April 1957 as a part of the Norden Club project in Scandinavian history. This collection is on microfilm only. The original volumes are not in the possession of the Nebraska State Historical Society.
