SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE
This collection contains a miscellany of papers from 1919-1920 of Louis D. Kavanagh, a member of the Irish Self-Determination of Omaha, Nebraska. The materials focus on supporting Ireland and its right to independence from the British government. Some of the paperwork shows that Kavanagh made a loan of $50.00 to the Elected Government of the Republic of Ireland. Also included are letters requesting Kavanagh’s support, as well as material relating to “Resolution One” and “Resolution Two” asking for federal government support of Ireland.
