SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE
The collection consists of an envelope and letter, May 13, 1891, written by J.W. Cole of Lincoln to his brother, describing the visit of President Benjamin Harrison and subsequent parade. The letter is written on letterhead of C.J. Roman, Carriage Builder. Cole was an employee of C.J. Roman. The letter describes the events of the day and the parade route taken by President Harrison.
