SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE
The manuscript portion of this collection contains Hummel and Meyer Family genealogical materials, certificates, WWII ration books, a funeral register for Joseph B. Hummel, and miscellaneous items. Also included is a pamphlet, “Hummel Park: A Journey Through History And Nature.”
The photograph component of the collection [RG5246.PH] consists of approximately 1000 images. The collection contains three snapshot albums from the Hummel Family, c.1920. Eight framed studio portraits of Hummel family members are also included, along with other studio portraits and snapshots.
Note: Some Hummel Family items are housed at the Nebraska History Museum. Not all artifacts are on display; researchers must call for an appointment before scheduling a visit.
