SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE
The collection consists of one box containing a business ledger for L.J. Wolf Company of Berlin, Nebraska. L.J. Wolf was a dealer in wines, liquors and cigars and the proprietor of the Lone Star Saloon. The ledger lists customer accounts and amounts paid for merchandise. The entries date from 1898 to 1915. By 1915 Wolf had gone into business with W.J. Knabe. Various loose receipts on Lewis J. Wolf and Knabe and Wolf stationary are included. Also included is a partial index to customer names compiled by Georgene Sones of Omaha.
