This collection consists of one reel of microfilm containing six volumes of records from the Mission Creek United Presbyterian Church, Liberty, Nebraska, dating from 1873-1962. The records include: 1) Session minutes, 1873-1962; 2) Church register, 1873-1957; and 3) Minutes of the annual meeting, 1908-1942. A handwritten history of the church is inserted in the first six pages of volume five. The records relate to the activity of the church in Pawnee County, Nebraska. The Mission Creek United Presbyterian Church collection was made available for microfilming in September of 1963.

About History Nebraska
History Nebraska was founded in 1878 as the Nebraska State Historical Society by citizens who recognized Nebraska was going through great changes and they sought to record the stories of both indigenous and immigrant peoples. It was designated a state institution and began receiving funds from the legislature in 1883. Legislation in 1994 changed History Nebraska from a state institution to a state agency. The division is headed by Interim Director and CEO Jill Dolberg. They are assisted by an administrative staff responsible for financial and personnel functions, museum store services, security, and facilities maintenance for History Nebraska.
