SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE
This collection consists of the articles of incorporation and supporting documentation for the Missouri Pacific Railway Company of Nebraska. Incorporated by Jay Gould, A.A. Talmage, F.B. Drake, S.M. Smith and John L. Webster in 1881, the Missouri Pacific Railway Company’s main office was located in Omaha, Nebraska. Along with the articles of incorporation, the collection includes a Douglas County Clerk’s affidavit regarding the accuracy of the articles of incorporation, and the official acknowledgment document from the Nebraska Secretary of State’s office.
