Fees for the Use of Still Images, Moving Images, Sound Recordings and Collection Spaces
Effective August 1, 2024
Use fees are charged when items from the Nebraska State Historical Society’s Collections are published, displayed, presented or broadcast, and are in addition to any reproduction fees. Use fees are charged in addition to any charges for access or duplication services provided by the Nebraska State Historical Society.
This schedule specifies the fees the Nebraska State Historical Society charges for such uses. For details on NSHS’s guidelines for use, see our Use Policy. NSHS does not sign external permission forms/materials releases. Payment of a Nebraska State Historical Society Use Fee does not pass copyrights to the user; copyrights must be cleared with the copyright holder prior to use.
