BACKGROUND NOTE
Area citizens formed the Rose Hill Cemetery Association of Waverly, Nebraska, and adopted their constitution on March 22, 1879. The association managed the Rose Hill Cemetery at Waverly until 1992. The association filed articles of dissolution on November 23rd, 1992. At that time the city of Waverly took over management of the Rose Hill Cemetery.
SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE
The collection consists of records of the Rose Hill Cemetery Association. Items include a minute book (including constitution and articles of dissolution), a record book of interments, two volumes listing lot owners, and a lot map. The items in the collection date from 1879 to 1992. One folder of additional items was added in 2020. Included are several letters and two bank books kept by the association.
