SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE
This collection consists of one reel of microfilm containing the record book of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Cordova, Nebraska. The first portion is written in the Danish language. These church records include baptisms, death records, records of sermons, marriages and the constitution of the church. The entries are recorded chronologically from 1889 to 1954.
The record book was loaned for microfilming by Rev. Hakon Jorgensen, Cordova, Nebraska, on February 20, 1956, as part of the Norden Club project on the history of Scandinavians in Nebraska.
