BACKGROUND NOTE
Established in 1922, the University Place Business Men’s Association held its first meeting at Cannon’s Cafe in University Place. The first meeting was more of a social gathering, but it was decided to establish an official organization at the next meeting held on January 23, 1922. The purpose of the organization was to promote the business interests and general welfare of University Place.
SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE
The collection consists of one volume of meeting minutes of the University Place Business Men’s Association. The minutes date from 1922 to 1948.
