SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE
This collection consists of miscellaneous materials relating to Effie Irene Sapp (Mrs. Clarence E. Sapp) of Havelock, Nebraska. The materials date from ca. 1905-1926 and include household account books (1915-1919), Havelock Woman’s Club programs (1919-1923), and various deeds, titles, mortgages, (1905-1926), etc. The account books list food items purchased each day and the cost. One additional item included in the collection is an event program entitled, “Jephthah and His Daughter: A Dramatic Cantata Given in Havelock Christian Church, Monday and Tuesday, May 4th and 5th, By the Havelock Choral Society Benefit of the Y.M.C.A.” Mrs. Sapp is listed as one of the “Maids of Gilead.” Also included is a folder containing genealogical information.
