Scout Workshops – American Indian Culture
Scout Workshop American Indian Culture
Join us in exploring the unique and influential cultures of Nebraska’s Indigenous Nations. Discover the rich history of the tribal lands on which many of our communities are built today, and learn about the countless contributions made to our state by the numerous Native tribes and Indigenous populations past and present.
To earn their blue card, each Scout must complete this pre-work activity before the workshop date. Use the external resources listed on the right to help complete the lesson. The Merit Badge counselor will approve the requirement. Scouts must bring completed work with them on the day of their workshop if they wish to complete their Merit Badge.
Want to take notes during the workshop? Check out this resource from the U.S. Scouting Service Project. This workbook is not required to earn your blue card.
This program will be offered in Fall 2026. Scouts must register five (5) working-days prior to the workshop. Please use the calendar below to reserve your spot. Workshops are $10 per Scout and $5 per adult. Troop leaders are free. Please review our Scout workshop policies for more information.
Be sure to check out our other Scout Workshops to help Scouts earn their Archeology (Fall 2026) and Genealogy Merit Badges (Fall 2026).
