It’s the season for the spooky, the strange, and the supernatural! Visit the Nebraska History Museum Thursday, October 27, from 5 pm – 7 pm for a ghostly event for the entire family! We’ll have a special live Nebraska ghost-telling hour with Jade Mendoza of Lincoln Historical Ghost Quest and the Nebraska Game and Parks radio show, “Nebraska Outdoors” with a chance for you to learn and use professional paranormal investigating equipment! There will also be a group-led mini-paranormal investigation at the museum, so you might even encounter a ghost or two!
Our Collections Registrar, Jordan Miller, will grab some of the spookiest artifacts in our collection, including a strange Cyclopes head, a creepy doll named Jake, and drawings from one of Nebraska’s most infamous murderers.
