Learn about the history of jazz and delight your ears with jazz tunes and poetry lyrics at the April History Café.
UNL Associate Professor of Trumpet and Jazz Studies, Darryl White, with piano accompanist Kevin Lloyd, will perform jazz tunes on his trumpet and enlighten us about the history of the musical movement.
Poet, translator and memoirist Maria Nazos will share her creative process and recite from her latest body of work.
Discover what these two art forms have in common with moderator and art consultant Deborah Bunting.
