Tour and experience the newly rehabilitated Hibberd Block and in-progress rehabilitation project at Lowe & Fair Building in downtown Kearney, Thursday, October 7 at 4:00pm. Join us for a tour of Hibberd Block at 2224 Central Avenue, a project that used historic tax credits to help restore historic wood windows, tin ceilings, and plaster walls while updating mechanical features and adding three new residential units. The building will be open from 4:00-4:45pm.
Then, around 4:45pm, we will walk to the Lowe & Fair Building at 10 E Railroad Street to hear about the on-going historic tax credit project that is rehabbing the historic commercial spaces and adding four second story residential units. Around 5:30pm we will adjourn to McCue’s Nebraska Taproom to provide refreshments and conversation for those who can stay. We would love to see you!
