The Berry State Aid Bridge was listed on the National Register in 1992.
The Berry State Aid Bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992. The original Berry Bridge, built in 1899, was moved to a new location after flooding in 1916 and is now known as Brewer Bridge. The Berry State Aid Bridge was built in 1920-21 at the original location. It takes its name from the fact that it was built with state funding.

During construction of the new bridge, a misplaced dynamite blast damaged the truss. Despite the mishap, the Berry State Aid Bridge was completed in June 1921.This bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992 for being a “regionally important crossing of the Niobrara River and as one of the few remaining state aid trusses in Nebraska.”
