Here at the Nebraska State Historical Society Archives, staff receive questions and requests for information on a wide variety of topics. We recently received a request for information from the Bix Beiderbecke Museum & Archives in Davenport, Iowa. While going through their collection, they found a sketch sent to Bix Beiderbecke by Harold Trombla.

After a little searching online, they discovered that the NSHS holds a small collection relating to local musician Charles Harold Trombla. Not sure if this was the same “Harold Trombla,” they contacted us for more information. We were able to provide them with a scan of this postcard from the collection showing the same style and signature by Trombla.
