Today’s Throwback Thursday photo features puppeteer George Churley surrounded by a few of his many creations. George served as producer, writer, and talent for “Kalamity Kate’s Cartoon Corral on KOLN-TV/KGIN-TV, a CBS affiliate broadcasting in Lincoln and Grand Island, NE. From August 1975 to April 1980, George was responsible for about 10 minutes of original programming a day, five days a week.
