Today’s Throwback Thursday Photograph features two of History Nebraska newest additions to the Photograph Collection. In the first image (at left), workers load baskets of grapes into a horse-drawn wagon on George Gould’s vineyard near Florence, Nebraska in about 1915. The young boys seated in the wagon’s jump seat are likely Gould’s sons.
In the second image (at right), canvas tarps have been used to secure the baskets of grapes for transport. Painted on the side of the wagon is: Florence Fruit Farm. Both images were taken by Arnold’s Photo Shop of Omaha.
