SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE
This collection consists of five letters written to and from Bob C. Dudley while he was held at a German prisoner of war camp during World War II. Three letters are written by Robert Dudley to his parents in Crete, Nebraska. One letter is written to Dudley from his parents, and the final letter is written to Dudley from his brother, Jack. The letters from Bob Dudley are not very detailed, basically just telling his family that he is fine and that he hopes to come home soon. Also included in the collection are various newspaper clippings about Dudley and one snapshot of Dudley and another POW.
