SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE
This collection consists of a transcription of an interview with Carl W. Olson. It was conducted in March of 1988 by Lennart Setterdahl for the American Friends of the Emigrant Institute of Sweden, Inc. Also included is the program from the banquet at which Olson received a Nebraska Swedish Heritage Award, April 13, 1988. The interview provides information about Mr. Olson, the Olson Family, the growth of the Olson Construction Company, the history of Lincoln’s built environment, activities of the Swedish people living in Nebraska and many other topics as well.
