SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

The collection consists of one box containing records of the Hawthorne School Parent Teachers Association in Lincoln, Nebraska.  The records date from 1917 to 1950 and include a record book of the Hawthorne Mothers Club; a record book containing the constitution and bylaws and minutes of the Hawthorne School PTA; historical information about the organization, and a scrapbook.  The scrapbook contains mostly clippings but includes event programs, certificates and other ephemera.  A two page “History of Hawthorne School” was added in 2007.
