BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
Born October 8, 1903 to Ben and Mae (Zicafoose) Oberg, Mildred Oberg lived her whole life in Lancaster County, Nebraska. She graduated from the University of Nebraska School of Agriculture in 1922. She married Oliver Johnson and had two children, Roger and Mervin. Mildred was heavily involved with the Davey Woman’s Club. She passed away on July 14, 1979. Mildred (Oberg) Johnson is buried next to her husband in Bethlehem Cemetery in Lancaster County.
SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE
The collection consists of an album containing material relating to Mildred (Oberg) Johnson. The materials include lots of snapshots as well as some other ephemera from her time in the School of Agriculture (ca. 1918-1922). Also included are a few photos and information relating to the Davey Woman’s Club.
