Nebraskans of Irish and Scotch-Irish Ancestry (NISIA) is a non-profit, non-political, educational organization established in October of 1989 for the study of Irish and Scotch-Irish culture, history and genealogical research in Ireland, in the United States and in Nebraska. Membership is open to any person interested in Irish and Scotch-Irish ancestry.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This collection consists of the records of Nebraskans of Irish and Scotch-Irish Ancestry (NISIA). Included are organizational bylaws, minutes of meetings, financial records, membership lists, and program materials. Most of the items date from 1989-1996.
