BACKGROUND NOTE
The Sierra Club, founded in 1892, is the oldest and largest environmental organization in America. The Nebraska Chapter oversees four smaller groups within the state: Platte Valley Group, Cottonwood Group, Missouri Valley Group, and Bluestem Group.
SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE
The collection contains misc. records of the Sierra Club, Nebraska Chapter. The collection includes meeting minutes and agendas, financial information, newsletters and press releases and general materials relating to several committees and environmental issues.
