BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
William Bryan Millson, born at Salem, Illinois, was a nephew of William Jennings Bryan. He came to Lincoln in 1900 and attended Nebraska Wesleyan University for three years. Millson married Louise Stryker in 1903. After a period of out-of-state residence working as a salesman, he returned and for seventeen years he was a deputy collector for the Internal Revenue Service. William Bryan Millson died in Lincoln on May 29, 1950, and is buried at Wyuka Cemetery.
SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE
This collection consists of two manuscript boxes of material including correspondence, 1906-1944; certificates, insurance policies, deeds, etc.; clippings, 1906-1931; memo books of W.B. Millson, 1917-1918; and several folders of miscellaneous items. The bulk of the collection consists of correspondence relating to Millson’s sales work and reflecting particularly the difficulties of the depression years.
