HISTORICAL NOTE
The Woman’s Bi-Metallic League was founded in Lincoln, Nebraska, for the purpose of promotion of bi-metallism and general education on political questions. Membership was restricted to women who sympathized with the objects of the organization, would sign the constitution and pay the initiation fee of twenty-five cents. The organization was disbanded on July 16, 1900.
SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE
This collection consists of one folder relating to the organization of the Woman’s Bi-Metallic League. The collection includes a secretary’s book containing the constitution and minutes of meetings (1898-1900) of the Woman’s Bi-Metallic League. Also included are two copies of their membership list from 1896.
The collection was donated by the Woman’s Bi-Metallic League in 1918.
