Every Saturday in September between 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., we will be celebrating Nebraska Archeology Month with unique Hands-On History programs. These programs provide visitors of all ages the opportunity to learn more about archeology and its importance to history. Each Saturday will feature something new, so be sure to visit every weekend!

What is an archeologist? Join us on Saturday to kick off Archeology Month as we learn about what an archeologist does and explore artifacts found in the field. Challenge your friends and family to our game celebrating the life of Ann Axtell Morris, an archeologist from Nebraska! All this fun is included in the price of admission and will be on the first floor of the Nebraska History Museum.
