Say “Hello!” to the new Lunchbox Lectures series, presented by the Nebraska History Museum. The first lecture on March 18th from 12 pm–1 pm will feature the author Leo Adam Biga, who has written several articles for the Nebraska History Magazine, a quarterly, illustrated magazine that explores Nebraska’s history and culture through original articles and historical images from the Nebraska State Historical Society extensive collections.
The talk will expand on Adam Biga’s recent article in the Winter 2024 Nebraska History Magazine covering the Nebraska Filmmaker Joan Micklin Silver, who wrote and directed the 1975 film Hester Street.
Admission is free. The lecture will be recorded by LNKTV and made available to the public.
Special thanks to the Nebraska State Historical Society Foundation for providing funding for the recording of this event.
